Hamilton, ON, [May 22, 2025] – The Ontario Credit Union Foundation (OCUF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Inniss as its new Board Chair, succeeding Randy Murray, who has completed his term. Chris Inniss currently serves as the President & CEO of Mainstreet Credit Union, bringing a strong and diversified background in financial services, along with a deep commitment to people, purpose, and community.
A charismatic culture builder and strategic thinker, Chris has led Mainstreet Credit Union with a clear focus on digital transformation, while preserving the values that differentiate credit unions – care for members’ financial well-being and strong support for local businesses and communities. His leadership style fosters open communication and mentorship, empowering his teams to thrive and achieve a shared vision. In his personal time, Chris enjoys life at home with his wife, daughter, and son. He is also an avid triathlete, travel enthusiast, and enjoys crafting cocktails – always with a focus on connecting with people.
Chris’s appointment as Board Chair reflects his passion for community impact and his alignment with OCUF’s mission to promote financial literacy and support youth education through grants and bursaries. “I am truly excited to step into the role of Chair of OCUF and build on the incredible momentum Randy and the team have created,” said Chris. “By harnessing the collective expertise of credit unions across Ontario, we can empower the next generation with the skills and confidence they need to build stronger, more resilient communities.”
During Randy Murray’s tenure as Chair, OCUF continued to grow through new partnerships, enhanced programming, and an unwavering focus on empowering youth. Chris Inniss’s leadership is expected to build on this strong foundation, guiding the Foundation into its next chapter of growth and innovation.
